About the listing
Lorne Film returns after a three-year hiatus July 26-28. Focused solely on Australian independent films, the festival’s program includes two feature-length film premieres, as well as short films, parties and industry events.
Supporting Lorne’s winter tourism, Lorne Film will bring together filmmakers, critics and movie buffs from across Australia to be immersed in the very best of Australian film. Several venues in the town will host festival events and offer accommodation deals.
The two highly anticipated film premieres of this year’s festival are Filterphonic, created by Melbourne Film Maker Lee Galea and Stringybark, the debut feature of two Geelong filmmakers.
