From 16–19 October 2025, Lorne will proudly host the UCI Gran Fondo World Championships, welcoming cyclists and supporters from around the world.
This internationally renowned event transforms the Great Ocean Road - completely closed to traffic - into one of the most breathtaking race courses on the planet.
Over four incredible days, the world’s best amateur cyclists will compete for the coveted title of World Champion, with Lorne at the heart of the action.
